Brough occurs as village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, located on the Northern bank of the River Humber, approximatetly 10 miles West from either Hull city centre. A village was referred to as Petuaria in the period of Roman times, and served when a capital of the Parisi, a Celtic tribe. A village is served per Hull to Selby and Doncaster railway line. The directly rail service to London is provided by Hull Trains.
